Fall 2020 UPDATE

We started Haysboro Fit out a love for our community and a desire to help people through exercise. As a boutique studio and local business, these past several months have proven to be challenging, but we’re committed to moving ahead in a responsible and sustainable manner that stays true to our roots.

 

In response to COVID-19 we have implemented the following protocols and changes to our in-studio classes and sessions:

In-studio protocols
The health and safety of our community is of the utmost importance. We have implemented the following protocols and practices in accordance with Alberta Health Services’ guidelines.

 

Our schedule may look different week to week as we adjust to this new way of operating. We ask that you check the schedule often and follow our Instagram and Facebook pages for the most up to date details.
 

Please take a moment to review the changes we’re making to ensure a safe experience for our staff and clients.

Booking a Class

In-studio classes begin Monday, October 19, 2020

We have limited the capacity of all our classes to six (6) participants. Please book your class online BEFORE coming to class as we cannot guarantee an open spot in class if you drop-in.  
 

If you are unable to make a class or simply don't feel comfortable being indoors than we invite you to join us online. To book an online class select the class labelled 'ONLINE' (e.g. Bull Strong ONLINE).

Please note, if you have booked an in-person class or session you MUST fill out a COVID-19 Survey. Alll participants are required to fill out a Health History Form annually.

What to Bring
Please ensure you arrive in your training clothes; at this time access to the bathroom is reserved for staff use only or emergencies; sanitized hands and a mask are required to enter. Please bring only the essentials, including a mat, clean indoor training shoes and a filled water bottle. 

A face covering is required when entering and exiting the studio and can be removed once you are settled in your spot in the studio. Please note, instructors may elect not be wear masks while teaching.


We will no longer be providing exercise mats. The equipment we do provide will be available for use during class and disinfected between each session using a Health Canada approved disinfectant.

What to expect
ARRIVAL: Prior to entering the studio you will be asked to sanitize your hands at the front door. Your trainer will check your temperature using a non-invasive forehead thermometer prior to you entering the studio. In the event your temperature is equal or above 37.8 C you will not be permitted to enter the studio. 

Once in the studio you'll find space for your coat, shoes and belongings. We simply ask that you wear socks or clean indoor runners at all times when moving in and around the studio space.

 

DEPARTURE: Please exit the studio promptly at the end of class. Feel free to catch up with friends outside of the studio, so that our staff can clean and prepare the room for the next session. Outdoor seating is available for your use. 

When to arrive

We recommend arriving 10 minutes before class start time to ensure you have enough time to settle in, and faciliate a smooth check-in process for your and your fellow participants.

Health & Safety Protocols

In alignment with our continued commitment to the POST Promise and Alberta Health Services guidelines we’ve implemented the following health and safety protocols: 

  • Reduced capacity in in-studio classes to ensure physical distancing

  • Placed markers on studio floor indicating designated spaces

  • Disinfected and sanitized the studio floor, equipment and high-touch points using Health Canada approved products between classes.

  • Provided hand sanitizer outside and inside the studio Implemented a new booking system to accept contactless credit card payments. E-transfer to haysborofit@gmail.com will continue to be accepted. 

Updated Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
We have implemented a strict 4-hour cancellation and reschedule policy for all services. If you know you are unable to attend a class or session, we kindly ask that you cancel or reschedule your booking online or via the Haysboro Fit Wix App (details below). We do not accept bookings, cancellations or rescheduling over the phone or email.

We invite you to join Haysboro Fit on the Wix app. Whether you are a new client, an aspiring one, or looking to purchase a plan (i.e. 5 Class Pass) you'll be able to:

  • Purchase sessions, plans, and memberships

  • See updates and news (including class cancellations and updates)

  • Send us a direct message (we love hearing from you!)

  • Book appointments and/or classes at the click of a button*

  • RSVP to workshops and events

  • Read and comment on our posts

Please note, while we would have loved to have developed our own app (maybe one day!), you will need to dowload the Wix App to access Haysboro Fit's mobile site. The link below will redirect you to download the app via Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Once you've downloaded the app all you need to do is log-in and start booking sessions!

 

Online members' area

For those of you that have purchased plans in the past, you'll know that we've always asked you to register to our members' area. You can access your member account via the login button next to the main menu and quickly:

  • Re-book a session without re-entering your details

  • Cancel an upcoming booking

  • Reschedule a booking (if the service is not part of a plan or pack)

  • Check the time, location, and payment details of a booking

GROUP FITNESS: If you cancel or reschedule your reservation less than 4 hours prior to the start of your scheduled class, or do not show up, we consider it a "Late Cancel", and will deduct one (1) class from your account. 

If a class is full, you can choose to join the wait list (feature only available via the Haysboro Fit App). Ensure your member profile is up to date including your phone number and your Notification Preference; select the checkbox ‘TEXT' to receive confirmation that you’re added from the wait list. You will have 30 minutes to schedule the class before it’s released to the next person on the wait list.


PERSONAL, COHORT & MEMBERSHIP TRAINING: If you cancel or reschedule less than 4 hours prior to the start of your session, you may incur a $20 "Late Cancel" fee in addition to being deducted one (1) session from your account.


Cancelled or rescheduled classes/sessions made before the 4-hour window will be credited, and returned to your account for future use. Please email us if you are cancelling or rescheduling your class or session due to any one of the reasons below:

  • You have been in close contact with a person who is being investigated for or has a probable or confirmed case of COVID-19 (excludes front-line workers)

  • You have experienced any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore throat, and/or runny nose (excludes allergies, chronic or pre-existing conditions); or

  • You have been advised to self-isolate by local health authorities

We are in this together
The only way our new health and safety protocols will be most effective is if we all do our part. Please make sure to practice social distancing before, during and after class. 

 

To re-iterate, please DO NOT come to the studio if you are experiencing any of the following: 

  • You have been in close contact with a person who is being investigated for or has a probable or confirmed case of COVID-19 (excludes front-line workers)

  • You have experienced any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore throat, and/or runny nose (excludes allergies, chronic or pre-existing conditions); or

  • You have been advised to self-isolate by local health authorities
